Experiences
Lots of the children have done some really exciting jobs over the past few years. Here are some of the children’s experiences on set so you can really get a sense of the fun the children have on these jobs:
Freya’s experience:
“I loved the costumes, the set was amazing and the director was really kind. It was my first main role and everyone made me feel really comfortable. I made really good friends and the snacks were amazing!” – Freya (filmed a commercial for a technology company)
Isaac’s experience:
“Isaac really enjoys working at Eastenders even when he has super early mornings, he is always up and ready to go. He has a great relationship with his chaperone, Keith and seeing him is also a highlight. Isaac has made great friends and we’ve got to know some of the other children’s families from the cast. It’s a real family environment. The adult cast members are amazing and treat the children like their own. We couldn’t have wished for him to have a better experience in his first main tv role.” – Mum of Isaac Lemonius who plays Mackenzie Atkins in Eastenders
Megan's experience:
“I really enjoyed going to Gran Canaria to do some filming. We did one scene in a massive swimming pool which was super amazing! Me and my twin sister had a speaking part which was great fun. The cast and crew were very kind to us. My costumes were nice and colourful. The best part was when we got to film in a car that was driving really fast with a stunt driver! We were filming in the middle of the desert at the time. It was super hot and we had to have loads of suncream on. I love being in Ann Koska Agency as I get to experience loads of fun things and be part of Movies and TV Series!” – Megan Gammons, age 9
Ella’s experience:
“I loved this filming experience, I felt so lucky to get this amazing role. I was so excited that we would get to film in Gran Canaria. I really liked the costumes we had to wear. My favourite one was a pretty blue skirt with a stripy orange top. I loved having my hair done. The hair and makeup ladies were lovely and tried out lots of different styles on me. The cast and crew were very friendly and looked after me and my sister. We got drinks, snacks and got to sit in Directors chairs. We had a speaking part in one of the scenes and had to say our lines a few times, it was fun. My favourite scene was in a swimming pool where we got to play in between takes. I really enjoyed this fantastic experience!” – Ella Gammons, age 9
